Lifting the Dish Above the Water Tanks for an Unblocked Sky
An extension pole on top of the water-tank tower lifts the dish clear of the trees and rooftops around the compound.
What we did
The highest point in the compound was the steel water-tank tower, so that is where the dish went: above the trees and rooftops, with nothing in its way.
Fixed an extension pole to the top of the steel water-tank tower
Mounted the dish on the pole, well above the trees and rooftops
Ran the cable down the tower and into the house
